What's the difference between permanent, strip and Christmas lights?
Permanent lights are individual lights mounted at equal distances along your roofline, so the light forms a clean, defined shape that outlines your home. They stay up year-round. Strip lights give a continuous, smooth glow — great for eaves, patios and decks. Christmas lights are installed for the season and taken down after the holidays.
How much does it cost?
Every home is different, so we give a free personalized estimate based on your home, the installation requirements and the system you choose.
What happens after I request an estimate?
We'll contact you, ask a few questions and usually request a few photos of your home. Then we'll plan the lighting and send you options.
Will I see the lights during the day?
Permanent and strip lights are designed to be discreet. We plan placement and route wiring neatly so the installation blends in with your home.
Why do some homes need mounting trim?
On some rooflines the fascia or soffit doesn't give lights a clean place to mount. We add trim, pre-painted to match your home, so the lights line up evenly and the wiring stays hidden. We'll let you know if your home needs it.
Can I have different colors in different areas?
Often, yes — for example the front in one color and the sides in another. Options depend on the system you choose.
Can you install lights I already bought?
Yes! We install many customer-supplied lighting systems. Just let us know which brand and model you have, and we'll confirm compatibility and installation requirements before getting started.
Which areas do you serve?
Most often Sacramento, Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Loomis, Penryn, Auburn, Granite Bay, Folsom, Citrus Heights, Orangevale, Fair Oaks, El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, West Sacramento, Natomas, Davis, Dixon, Woodland and Vacaville.
